Lisa Fuller - Occupational Therapist
Lisa Fuller has lived in Arizona for 15 years after relocating with her
husband from New Hampshire. She has a Bachelor's degree in Special
Education/ Early Childhood and received a Masters degree in Occupational
Therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2002. Lisa worked in
the school system as a teacher for 7 years and as an Occupational Therapist
for 4 years. She took a few years off to spend time with her 3 girls who
are now 8, 6 and 3. Lisa began working at Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy in April of
2009 and loves working with children and families in their home, where she
feels children can make more meaningful progress toward their goals. She
has worked with a wide variety of ages and disabilities including Autism,
Downs Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Lisa has experience with Sensory
Integration techniques and creating individualized sensory diets in the
home. She has also trained and worked with children who have feeding /
eating issues. Lisa has always had a passion for working with young
children with special needs, knowing that the earlier children's delays can
be addressed the better progress they will make. She feels blessed to have
this job, which she loves and finds very rewarding.
